Living a Story Worth Telling: Donald Miller’s A Million Miles in a Thousand Years.

Hey beautiful people!

If you’re new here then here’s the gist.Every first Wednesday of the month, I drop into your inbox with a book recommendation—this time, I’m switching things up with a video to share my thoughts in real-time.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how incredible life is when we take a moment to truly appreciate it—not just for what we want it to be, but for what it already is. We’re all living these unfolding stories, shaped by relationships, experiences, and presence. And one book that has deeply shaped my perspective on this is A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller.

*ps this is my favourite book, so forgive me if you’ve already heard me recommend it!

It’s a beautiful, reflective journey about stepping out of passive storytelling and actively living a better story. Miller explores what it means to engage fully with life, to embrace tension, creativity, and presence rather than just trying to capture moments for later. As someone who loves storytelling, this book has reminded me to invest in the story I’m already living—to be present, to notice, and to fully step into the moments happening now.

I dived deeply into it a few years ago, have a gander ⬇️

That’s my recommendation this Wednesday—hope you check it out! Would love to hear your thoughts. Also, let me know—do you prefer these reflections in video or written format? Appreciate you all, and I’ll catch you next time! 🚀📖
