My heart goes out to you and your family. Like you wrote, this is a testimony in itself and I thank God for still stepping in. I believe God can and will still use your dad in ways we cannot imagine. Be encouraged and thank you for sharing ♥️
❤️❤️ I am extremely inspired by your dad's faith and trust in God even in such trying times. It's experiences like these that remind me to be satisfied in God at ALL times, not just in the good but also the bad.
I too hope that your dad was not disappointed on the outcome. Thanks for the opportunity to learn from him 🙏🏾❤️
I hope you're doing okay too, remember Jesus loves you and He always has good plans for you and never evil, Jeremiah 29:11
A while before I got the notification for this letter I was grappling with a verse from Philippians 4 where Paul says “rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS…”. it sounded absurd to me at first glance and yet the verse had been ringing in my head previously before I decided to look it up. And I was thinking to myself and asking God how. How. How is it possible to even ask someone to consider rejoicing, being happy or thankful at a time when they deal with something difficult or life’s circumstances get us down.
A few minutes later the email notification came through and I figured I would open it because it had been a while since I read one of your 5 more minutes. I telly you I didn’t even have to get to the very last words before I heard God reply me so clearly: THIS IS HOW YOU REJOICE. In those moments when things may seem to be going our way, having faith and putting our full trust in God and being confident that He sees us and is continuously working everything out for our good. This is how we rejoice. By encouraging others even in our moments of weakness and tragedy. Maintaining hope that our present sufferings cannot compare to His glory. This is how we rejoice. Keeping perspective and focusing on the good moments, the memories of happiness that will always overcome sadness. This is how we rejoice.
I am so grateful for you Josiah and I pray that God’s almighty goodness will never stop running after you and your family. May he restore all that you have lost tenfold and use your story forever for his glory.
{i typed a shorter message before this and it got deleted :( but the devil is a liar lmao so i typed an even longer message this time round lol}
